Amid her pending fraud trial case, "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" star Teresa Giudice and her family took a short vacation to get away from the controversy surrounding her and husband Joe at a secluded ski resort. Starting Feb 24, the 41-year-old mother posted photos of Joe and her four daughters, hitting the slopes and enjoying each other's company.

Giudice has been charged with 41 counts of wire, bank and mail fraud and while there hasn't been any released legal development on the case as of late, the family has continued to be a strong unit as they wait for the day in court. "I cannot just be upset and crawl up in a ball, go in the room and lock the door. I cannot, I am a mom. I have four daughters," Giudice said in her latest interview with Good Morning America. "It just keeps making our family even stronger and closer," she told Star. See their pictures here

Meanwhile, a new report from Star magazine says Teresa's father, Giacinto Gorga was hospitalized after having complications from his lung disease emphysema on Feb. 16. He is also the father of Joe Gorga, Teresa's brother who feuds with her every so often. "Teresa was there by his side," a friend source said. "She is very close to her father and it was devastating for her to see him lying in a hospital bed. She is already so stressed and it just broke her heart. She is going through a very difficult time."

The insider revealed that it was not the first time Teresa's dad has been hospitalized. "The strain of Teresa's legal troubles has taken a toll on her father," the source added. "Knowing that the trial proceedings are fast approaching is very tough for him to absorb. It is hard to see his little girl in a serious situation."

Most of Teresa's trial proceedings will not be shown on the next season of "Real Housewives of New Jersey" but how the Giudice family deals with all the criticisms and public scrutiny will be.

"Real Housewives of New Jersey" will return to Bravo in the summer.
