Google has released a guide on how to make a switch from the iOS to Android. This is the same guide that was released by Eric Schmidt in 2013, but with a bit more information and a dedicated website.

In September, when the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus was launched, Apple too had posted an official guide on its website to switch from Android to the iOS. On the Google Android webpage, there are instructions showing how to bring all the users important information to the Android platforms without any hassles. Basically the directions are how to bring music, photos, contacts and other important things stored on the iOS to the Android.

This is a handy guide for people who are planning to shift from the iOS to the Android platform.

To transfer all the photos to the Android

Google+ offers unlimited storage facility and this can be accessed from any internet connected devices. To do this the iPhone user would have to download the Google+ app from iTunes.

Open the app and sign into the Google account that would be the Gmail address and password.

The user needs to select Auto Backup by selecting the menu icon at the top right select the gear icon. Go to Camera and Photos and click on Auto Backup and switch it on. This will back up all the photos to the cloud. Open the Photo App on the new Android and all the Photos from the iPhone and iPad can be viewed.

To transfer Music from iTunes

Around 20,000 songs from the iTunes library to Google Play Music can be transferred for free. To transfer Music, the users would have to sync their device to iTunes on the computer. Once this is done, all music would be backed up on the system. Then download and install the Google Play Music Manager on the computer. Googles Music Manager will upload all music on iTunes to the cloud. To finish with the Google Play Account setup, the user has to create a Google Wallet account. Though this service is free of cost the user will need to input their credit card into the account.

Contacts, Messages, E-mails and favourite Apps can be transferred to the Android by following the steps given on the Android website. The guide is simple to follow and will make switching to the Android platform easy.
