The cast of the multi-billion dollar movie franchise gathered during the much-awaited New York premiere of the last Harry Potter movie.

The NY premiere of the last Harry Potter movie, the Deathly Hollows part 2, proved to be an emotional affair as fans and cast members gather to celebrate one last hurrah. Fans arrived wearing costumes and holding signs saying how Harry Potter "changed" their lives. One fan's placard reads "Thanks for the memories", while another one's sentiment is deeper: "Harry Potter saved me from my eating disorder".

Emma Watson, Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint greeted their fans and signed autographs for what seems to be for the "latst time". Co-stars Alan Rickman and Tim Felton also attended the event, as well as Sex and the City star Sarah Jessica Parker with her husband Matthew Broderick and son.
