“Supernatural” fans can find out the identity of Crowley’s father if the show’s producers decided to incorporate the storyline in the upcoming episodes of season 11. “Supernatural” cast member Ruth Connell, who portrays Crowley’s witch mother Rowena, hopes that “Supernatural” Season 11 will explore on the storyline involving the father of the King of Hell, Crowley (Mark Sheppard).

In an interview with MTV News, Connell has shared the actors that she thinks could portray Crowley’s father in “Supernatural” Season 11 if the storyline pushes through. The 36-year-old Scottish actress suggested “Star Trek” actor William Shatner, “X-Men: First Class” actor Michael Fassbender and Sheppard’s father, “Mad Men” actor William Morgan Sheppard.

“I think there’s options about Crowley’s dad,” Connell shared.

In “Supernatural” Season 10, Rowena explained to Crowley that he had a father, but he was just conceived during a winter solstice orgy. Connell thinks that the orgy idea is “questionable,” but the viewers will find out more about Rowena’s past and what the witch has been really up to in “Supernatural” Season 11, episode 10 titled “The Devil in the Details.”

“Crowley was perhaps conceived -- perhaps, if she was telling the truth, we'll find out -- during a winter solstice orgy, so she's definitely interested in the men for being men's sake,” Connell stated in a Comic Book interview.

When asked about Rowena’s interaction with the “Supernatural” characters, Connell thinks that her character on the show is a wily woman. Connell further added that one of Rowena’s strengths is to identify each person’s weak and sweet spots.

“I think with Rowena there's such a relish at picking somebody's scabs and pressing the sore spots,” Connell shared.

Connell teased that the second part of “Supernatural” Season 11 will have Rowena interacting with Castiel (Misha Collins) and Lucifer (Mark Pellegrino). In the mid-season premiere episode, Connell further shared that there will be a Rowena-Castiel scene since she almost saw it in the video trailer.

Connell revealed that she and Collins curse and swear at each other but she finds it as a sign of affection. As for Pellegrino, Connell confessed that it was her wish to work with the 50-year-old actor.

“He’s so good,” Connell recounted while filming the mid-season finale episode.

“Supernatural” Season 11 is scheduled to return on Jan. 20, 2016 with episode 10 titled “The Devil in the Details.” The brand new episode of CW’s TV series will air at 9/8c.
