Before being formally released on E3 2014, Super Smash Bros 4, the upcoming Wii U and 3DS game, will be having an appearance. The appearance is not just a playable demo for press and fans. As a matter of fact, Nintendo will be saluting the Smash Bros community by launching a competition among the 16 top players in the latest edition of the game.

Super Smash Bros 4 fans can watch the E3 event made possible by Nintendo and Twitch.

The release date of Super Smash Bros 4 will come this summer or winter if you are a Wii U owner, and thus far, fans are eagerly waiting for the game to launch already. Just like the past Smash Bros titles, the game arrives with new characters to use and more exciting levels to play on.

This fourth game in the series gives users new characters like Greninja, Little Mac, Mega Man, Rosalina, and the Villager (from Animal Crossing fame) to fight and be fought.

With the new Super Smash Bros 4 characters to use in battle, it is expected to see Nintendo releasing new tech to tag along with the launch of the game. Not only that, the release of Super Smash Bros 4 will also give fans the certified Gamecube controller adapter from Nintendo.

There are many players using the Gamecube controller for Melee as well as Brawl, but still there are some Smash players who can play best with Nintendo's colourful gamepad. Maybe the return of Gamecube controller for Super Smash Bros 4 can bring the old players back to buying the game.

Typically, fans of the game can look forward to the Best Buy Smash-Fest promotion. Given that there is a Best Buy near you, you can already play Super Smash Bros 4 on Wednesday June 11 and Saturday June 14.

On the other hand, the most anticipated Super Smash Bros 4 is expected to be released on the Wii U this holiday season and on the 3DS this summer.

Meanwhile, the Super Smash Bros 4 on Wii U will be playable by 16 of the best Smash players in the world.
