HTC Desire 510 the mid range smartphone will be available on Sprint. An official announcement was made by Sprint that it would offer the smartphone on its network including its prepaid carriers Boost Mobile and Virgin Mobile.

The HTC desire may not offer the best specification as of today in the smartphone market, but it is a good phone and a budget phone with off contract price depending on the way a user would choose to buy it.

The HTC Desire 510 sports a 4.7 inch display with 1.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon quad core 410 processor with a RAM of 1 GB. The phone comes with an internal storage capacity of 8 GB with expandable memory. The front facing camera is 1.3 mega pixels and the rear facing camera is 5 megapixels. The phone supports HD voice calling and the Sprint Spark LTE Network. It also has Bluetooth 4.0 and a 2,100 mAh battery that is removable. The look of the phone is typically a HTC design with flat edges and a round back.

This is a mid range phone that is priced lesser than Motorola's Moto G. It is not a bad choice on a minimum budget the phone gives users many features. HTC is looking to attract customers who want features that are available on high end smart phone, but are not willing to buy these expensive phones or cannot afford to pay for it.

According to HTC, this phone is a perfect smart phone for customers who are budget minded and yet want the latest in multimedia on the go without buffering or lag. It supports the latest category 4 LTE connectivity. The Desire 510 will give the users favourite content with just a tap with superfast download and streaming speeds.

The device is available in the colour blue in Sprint starting on Friday for $0 down payment with 24 monthly payments of $8.34 or for an up-front service plan of $199.99. Boost mobile will sell the HTC Desire 510 in white colour for $99.99 starting on September 22 in exclusive retail stores and nationwide on September 23. Virgin Mobile will sell the blue Desire 510 for $99.99 on September 23.
