The leading stars of Chennai Express, Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone drew a massive crowd at the Arabian Center in Khawaneej, Dubai. When news got out that SRK was slated to break his fast with the fans, a huge horde of fans turned up for a glimpse of the superstar! The atmosphere replicated an enormous festival! Thousands shrieked in joy when the duo showed up and later broke into a jig.

SRK looked dapper in a white jacket and black trousers while Deepika chose to wear a black Sari. Khan and Padukone, their outfits perfectly matched, smiled, waved happily and blew kisses. When they attempted to chat with the fans, the entire place echoed with deafening screams!

Even the smallest gesture SRK made was subject to even louder screams. Deepika smiled her way through the crowd, obliged fans by taking pictures with them, signed autographs and gave away the film's music CDs. The actors were offered dates (a specialty in Dubai) and water too!

The crowd went berserk when 1234 Get on The Dance Floor from Chennai Express was played and the superstars treated their fans with an impromptu dance! Khan and Padukone answered questions about the film. Interestingly, SRK was asked how he felt donning a lungi in the film! Speaking about his fans in Dubai, Khan said it was humbling to receive so much love and blessings from everyone. Some waves here and some handshakes there, the stars wowed the crowd with an unforgettable memory. It couldn't have gotten any better especially at the time of their pious festival of Ramadan!

Director Rohit Shetty's Chennai Express releases on August 9. It stars Shah Rukh Khan as a 40-year-old man who sets on a journey to South India to submerge his late father's ashes. But on the way he gets involved with the feisty daughter (Deepika) of a don and falls in love with her. The film is an outright entertainer.
