With the unveiling of the Android 5.0 Lollipop and all the new features and information provided by Google every Android lover is expecting and waiting eagerly in anticipation for the update to the Android 5.0 Lollipop.

It seems that Samsung Electronics is pushing for an early update to the Android 5.0 Lollipop for the Galaxy Note 4. The update is supposed to be available days after the new smartphone is bought. According to Android Headlines, Samsung also has a timetable to inform users what devices are scheduled for updates and when to expect them. These timetables have been accurate at least so far.

The first devices to get upgrades to the Android 5.0 Lollipop are Samsung's Galaxy Note 4, Galaxy Note Edge and the Galaxy S5. But there has been information that these upgrades will be coming sooner than expected.

According to SamMobile the company has tweeted about the Galaxy Note 4's quad HD display. The tweet also shows an image of the Lollipop on the phones screen. This could simply mean that the image was used out of excitement around the Android 5.0 Lollipop at the moment or it could also hint that the update to this version of Android will be sooner than expected.

Samsung was actually pushing for a late November or an early December update for its devices and the company is already testing 5.0 Lollipop on the Galaxy S5 stated sources exclusively to Android Headlines. This could mean that Samsung is indeed getting ready for the update earlier than thought. This could also be before the holiday season. There is also logic to this as Samsung would want the update as early as possible for the Galaxy Note 4 as the Nexus 6 is fast approaching with its 6 inch display and pre installed Android 5.0 Lollipop. The reason being that users should not opt for the Nexus 6 over the Galaxy Note 4 due to the pre installed Android 5.0 Lollipop.
