The soon to be released Samsung Galaxy S5 is the upcoming competitor of Apple's iPhone 5s and the Korean company's upgrade to their Galaxy S4. However, before it can be even compared to a gadget battle against that of Apple, it is best to square it off first with the S4.

If rumours will serve true that the S5 will have the Key Lime Pie Android 5.0, then it will surely be a victor against the older version when it comes to performance. Not to mention the RAM of the new Galaxy smartphone at 3GB compared to the S4 that only has 2GB.

With its camera features, the Korean tech giant remains true to their being consistent of upgrading this aspect of their smartphone. The Galaxy S5 is set to have a whopping 16MP camera while the Galaxy S4 only had 13MP which is not bad already.

Galaxys5US.com reports that the new Galaxy smartphone will have metallic body with a display feature in full HD. This makes it way different from the S4 and closer to the newest iPhone 5S with the Galaxy S4 set in plastic material for its body.

When it comes to the battery length and power, it is still a unanimous win between the Samsung Galaxy S5 vs Galaxy S4 with the first having 3100 mAh or maybe even rumoured higher compared to the latter only having 2800 mAh with 15 hours of back up time.

It is interesting to note though how Valuewalk.com explained how they think the Samsung Galaxy S5 can keep up with Apple's iPhone 5S. First they analysed that for Samsung's newest phone to be released should be priced just around the range of cost of the iPhone 5S. It is just right for Samsung to come up with a new metallic material for its case along with a screen that is flexible to not stay way behind the design of the Apple's newest smartphone.

The site added that it could be an interesting change for Samsung Galaxy S5 to have killer applications or even an amazing camera that will certainly let down the iPhone 5S in the market, even including its older version which is the Samsung Galaxy S4.
