With the holidays soon to come around the bend, there are top three gaming gadgets that will surely battle it out in the list of every shopper: PS4 vs Wii U Vs Xbox One?

According to a recent poll made by Reuters, the upcoming PS4 of Sony is preferred better by the Xbox One of Microsoft. There were 26 per cent of the ones surveyed online who will most probably buy the PS4 to give as a holiday gift compared to the Xbox One buyers who only reached 15 per cent.

The poll conducted from Sept 23 to Sept 27 had a widened rift for those whose ages fall under 40. There were 41 per cent who picked Sony's newest gaming gadget compared to 27 per cent of Microsoft. Even if the samples that it was taken from were limited, it still was an interesting battle meant in preparation for the holiday season. Both big game tech companies are looking forward to get their brand new consoles to reach every US home.

It should be noted that the PS4 and the Xbox One not just work as gaming consoles but also as "conduits" for other entertainment appliance or gadget in your living room, to give way for your TV show and music enjoyment.

On the other hand, Christianpost reports that Nintendo Wii U is not "worried" about these coming launches of their competitor since they are confident about their product staying great.

"In addition to great titles like Pikmin 3 and Wonderful 101, I feel very good about our lineup, and I feel very good about the value proposition we're putting out there for the consumer," Reggie Fils-Aime, the Nintendo President of America said.

The Nintendo president only pointed out that the Wii U is completely focused on offering high quality games like Mario, Donkey Kong and Zelda. The giant company believes that such games can still give users an enjoyable experience.

After several weeks of price drop rumours, it was finally set that the Wii U will be offered only at $299.99 since Sept 20. The company president added that they are seeing the second holiday of the Wii U this year will still be consistently strong among buyers.
