'Power'
A still from Starz TV series "Power." Starz/ Facebook

The loss of Raina (Donshea Hopkins) will continue to have an impact in “Power” season 5 episode. While the Patricks try to find a way to deal with the death of their daughter, a new problem starts with Tommy (Joseph Sikora) bringing his father into the business.

Ghost (Omari Hardwick) has been acting reckless recently, and the preview video of the next episode [see below] shows him increasingly relying on drinks to numb his pain. Meanwhile, Tasha (Naturi Naughton) will have her own problems while dealing with her pain, and she will find it difficult to handle the pain on her own.

Meanwhile, the release of Tony Teresi (William Sadler) will have consequences on Tommy and James’ relationship. Ghost appears to go after Teresi, or at least he is cautious about him, but this will drive a wedge between him and his friend.

“He’s been your family for fifteen minutes. I’ve been your family your whole damn life,” Ghost can be seen telling Tommy in the promo video.

Things will reach a point where Ghost will have to make a move to alienate Tommy and his new Italian friends. The preview shows Tommy being shot at while he’s with one of his mobster friends. Will Kanan (50 Cent) shoot at his old friend, just to make him look toxic to the Italians? James will also seek Joe Proctor’s (Jerry Ferrara) advice on the situation, and the lawyer will tell him to keep away from anything illegal.

Meanwhile, the war against Dre (Rotimi) will continue. Dre’s crew will be concerned about James, Tommy, and Kanan coming together to bring down this new organisation.

Tariq (Michael Rainey Jr.) is missing in the preview. After making multiple mistakes, the character appears to be turning around. Tasha’s frank and open discussion with her son appeared to have had a positive impact on him. It remains to be seen how Tariq will contribute to all that is going on.
