Adult film actress Coco Brown wants to make history by being the first porn star to travel to outer space. To show how serious is her intention to be known outside baring her body, Ms Brown paid £64,000 to be part of a private Dutch space mission in 2014.

In preparation for her trip, Ms Brown went through an anti-gravity training for the journey 62 miles above the surface of the earth aboard the SXC rocket.

Ms Brown, 32, starred in the skin flicks Black Panty Chronicles 2 and Big Booty Bomb 2. Her other film credits include Honey Love, Sugarwall Slop Shots and It Don't Matter, Just Don't Bite 5.

If she will make it to the trip, she will also become the second African American woman to go to space. Ms Brown is undergoing further space training in The Netherlands.

"I've always had a love of space. I'm an adventurous person and I thrive off on excitement . . . I'm ready to do something that many would never attempt, and I'm going to tackle it successfully and have another fantastic story to tell," The Sun quoted the 32-year-old porn actress.

Besides outright skin flicks, Ms Brown has also appeared in MTVs where she also shows some of her brown skin. Here is the official video of Tight - Dump That/Still Dumpin Remix (Warning: Adult content, age check required).

Ms Brown is not the first porn star to foray outside the adult movie industry. In 1987, a Hungary-born porn star named Ilona Staller, more known as Cicciolina, became a member of the Italian Parliament. Here is her MTV singing a song aptly titled Political Woman.

Before her political career, here are the types of porn flicks that Cicciolina made.

Before the start of the Gulf War in 1991, Ms Staller even offered to have sex with Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein in exchange for peace in the Middle Eastern Region and she made the same offer to Osama bin Laden in 2006.

When her term ended in 1991, she was not reelected, but she continues to be active in politics and has also ventured into a musical career as shown in this clip from her live show performance at the Athens Cult Film Festival in 2007.
