Fans now need to power up as “Pokemon Sun and Moon” has revealed four new Mega Stones. The free code for the stones is available on the official Pokemon website.

Players can receive the items by selecting the Mystery Gift option from the menu screen. They can then choose to receive the gift from the code. Players need to apply the password AZUL to pick up the stones from the deliveryman inside any of the games’ Pokemon Centres. Previously, the four Mega Stones were not available in the game to allow Houndoom, Steelix, Heracross and Pidgeot to Mega Evolve during battles. Mega Evolution was first introduced to “Pokemon X and Y,” allowing certain Pokemon to transform during battle.

They needed to be equipped with the proper Mega Stone first. Once Mega evolved, the Pokemon would gain numerous enhancements over their base forms. There will also be new abilities, increased stats and sometimes different elemental typing. “Sun and Moon” in fact replaced Mega Evolutions with Z-Moves. Players could still receive certain Mega Stones only after completing the main story. Not all Mega Stones can be received in titles. Hence, Nintendo is distributing the remaining ones through the Mystery Gift feature and via events.

According to GameSpot, “Pokemon Sun and Moon” players may also add a special Midnight Form Lycanroc to their teams. Starting Monday, May 15, GameStop stores in the US will be giving off a serial code for the Pokemon. For this batch of Mega Stones, players need to enter the code in the game’s Mystery Gift option and receive their Lycanroc. Players who have reached the end of the game has realised that it is not easy to acquire Mega Stones as it was earlier. Few can be acquired now from the Battle Tree.

“These Pokémon aren't available in the wild in ‘Pokémon Sun’ or ‘Pokémon Moon,’ but you can bring them into Pokémon Bank via Poké Transporter from earlier games. The Pokémon you transfer will lose their items in the process, however, so this distribution is currently the only way to get these Mega Stones in “Pokémon Sun or ‘Pokémon Moon,’” informs Pokemon official website.

These four Mega Stones will allow the players to enjoy bigger battles. Thus, players should now aim to grab the code for the Mega Stones. Stay tuned on IBT AU for more updates on “Pokemon Sun and Moon” Mega Evolutions.
