The Philippines is still reeling from the havoc wreaked by Super Typhoon Haiyan, locally known as Yolanda. On Facebook, a "Philippine prophecy" video is going viral in relation to the apocalyptic scenes in Haiyan's badly-hit province of Leyte. Who is Cindy Jacobs and what's her "prophecy?"

Philippine Prophecy Video, Cindy Jacobs

"I see that there's gonna be some troubled times, so pray," Cindy Jacobs says in a YouTube video uploaded in March 2009. This Philippine prophecy further says, "God is going to release the Spirit of truth and righteousness into this nation."

The video, "courtesy of 700 Club," as stated on YouTube, drew over a hundred thousand views. Fast forward to present day, the clip seems to be going viral on Facebook and Twitter, as Filipinos are reacting with "goosebumps" to the old clip. Here is a sample reaction:

Here is one of the comments left for Cindy Jacobs on her Facebook page (from @corpuz.d.p):

"By the way a video clip of you from 700 club speaking about the prophecy of Philippines is becoming viral because what is happening now in our country like corruption issue and disasters are coming true like the words you said. Thank you for the enlightenment you bring to the world."

"Cindy Jacobs is a respected prophet who travels the world ministering not only to crowds of people, but to heads of nations," declares Jacobs' Facebook "About" page.

"Out of this darkness is going to come a transformation movement," Jacobs tells the Filipinos in the 700 club video. Four years later, some Filipinos are drawing inspiration from it post-Haiyan. Scroll down to watch the popular clip.
