A new sneak peek picture of “Outlander” season 4 has been released online, showing the love of Jamie (Sam Heughan) and Claire (Caitriona Balfe). A behind-the-scenes video from the production set has also surfaced online, showing the extras, the elaborate sets, and costumes of the show.

The new picture posted on TVInsider shows Jamie and Claire standing in the middle of a town, looking at each other. The report notes that the two lovers only have eyes for each other, no matter how crazy the world around them becomes.

The plot of the next season will mainly focus on the Frasers trying to build a home in the New World. They will be living in Wilmington, North Carolina.

"We’re in a place where they’re both very settled and confident in their relationship," Balfe said. The two characters will face a new set of challenges and dangers, but their relationship is stronger than ever. "External forces that would usually drive a wedge between them don’t," Balfe added.

Jamie and Claire will have a difference of opinion this time around too, but unlike before, they will apparently back each other up instead of fighting over it. The Revolutionary War is just around the corner when the Frasers land in America, which means there should be a lot of politics and plots, just like how it was in France.

Meanwhile, a video posted on Twitter shows the extras of the TV series on the production set, taking a break from the filming. The actors can all be seen in their costumes.

Filming of season 4 has already been completed, and the show is currently in the post production phase of development. Executive Producer and Writer Matthew B. Roberts stated online that he and the other members of the team are currently also busy working on “Outlander” season 5.
