"The Originals" executive producers Michael Narducci and Julie Plec teased in an interview a couple of storylines in the second half of season 2. The teased storylines involve "The Originals" characters such as Klaus (Joseph Morgan), Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin), Jackson (Nathan Parsons), Elijah (Daniel Gillies) and baby Hope.

In an Entertainment Weekly interview, executive producer Julie Plec shared that Cami (Leah Pipes) will be helping Elijah get through his messed up head because of Esther's (Sonja Sohn) plan for her children. "Cami becomes kid of like the [Sopranos' Jennifer] Melfi to Elijah as he's trying to work through the scars of his secrets that he's uncovered," Plec explained.

The executive producer further added that one of the things that Elijah will work through with Cami helping him is to admit what he did to his Original hybrid brother. "Knowing that his brother is not one for forgiveness, Elijah isn't quite sure if he should come clean and how he should come clean," Plec shared.

When asked about baby Hope's safety, the executive producers admitted that Klaus' daughter is in danger but the child can be dangerous as well. Julie Plec confirmed that there is something special about baby Hope while Michael Narducci teased that Klaus' child is a little bit of vampire, werewolf and witch.

"So what is she capable of and how will that be explored on our show is stuff that we want to play with and you will see some advancement in that plot in these first batch of episodes," Narducci further teased. Additionally, the second half of "The Originals" Season 2 will be dealing as well with Hayley and Jackson's upcoming wedding.

However, Julie Plec teased in a TV Line report that Hayley will be experiencing some emotional turmoil because of the commitment. The new hybrid mom will have to decide if she will marry Jackson even though she is in love with Elijah.

For the fans who are still hoping for a Klaus-Hayley relationship in the CW TV series, Julie Plec wants them to "keep waiting." The executive producer explained that Hayley is currently torn between Jackson and Elijah so adding Klaus will make things a little complicate but the pairing is not completely off the table.

"They do share a child and a history, and in the long run of the series, you never know. There are relationships you plan for, and then there are relationships you discover along the way. So they're one of those that you just watch, wait and see if there's a fun story to tell there," Plec teased.

"The Originals" Season 2 airs on Monday nights at 8 p.m. ET on the CW Network.
