More distractions are in the offing for the Minnesota Vikings as its star quarterback, Brett Favre, is under investigation by NFL if he really sent obscene text messages and photos to former New York Jets reporter Jenn Sterger in 2008.

The Vikings are still reeling from a 29-20, upset from to the same team involved in the controversy on Monday night when whistleblowing website Deadspin spilled more beans with fresh reports that Favre also made a pass to two Jets masseuse two years ago while he was still with the Jets.

Sterger, who now works for the Versus TV network, remains as mum as Favre but the massage therapists, who prefer to be nameless for now, have hinted of coming out soon with their stories told to Deadspin and the New York Post on Tuesday. In a post-game news conference, Favre dodged questions about the investigation and told reporters he preferred to discuss the game with the Jets.

According to Deadspin, the masseuse met Favre during the Jets' training camp at Hofstra University. Favre allegedly asked them for an additional rubdown at his hotel but realized he wanted more than that. The quarterback also allegedly sent them inappropriate text messages.

One of the massage therapists said Favre apologized to her when he learned she was married. Her husband also demanded an apology but Favre refused, prompting the couple to consider filing a harassment complaint. A lawyer, however, advised that such offense was not applicable to a private contractor so no case was pursued.

The masseuse resurfaced amid the emerging Favre-Sterger scandal and they are talking with league officials about the quarterback's misconducts in 2008.
