Nexus 7 2 Price Revealed: Tablet More Expensive Than Predecessor?
The possible selling prices of Nexus 7 2 tablet had spread like wild fire on the Internet exciting many awaiting fans and techied. Is it worth the wait and your well-earned cash?
It seems that the Nexus 7 2 bears a more expensive price tag than its predecessor. An inventory screen leak shows that the 16GB version of the tablet will be going for $229, $20 more than its predecessor, and the 32 GB version will be retailing for $269.
However, these prices are not high enough considering that the upcoming Nexus 7 2 is revamped with improved features including a 5 megapixels rear camera, a Snapdragon 600 processor and possible a full HD 1080p screen.
Both the 16 GB and the 32 GB models of Nexus 7 are showed to have a quad-core processor and may not have been shipped yet. What we cannot tell is whether the new tablet will come with Android 4.3 Jelly Bean out-of-the-box or will it have the current Android 4.2 Jelly Bean or whether there will be Wi-Fi and 3G versions like the current Nexus 7 tablets.
Tech blogs have speculated that has it that the Nexus 7 2 will be launched on July 24 in a Google-hosted event. The tablet is said to be introduced with the new Android OS along with the Nexus smartphone.
According to reports, , the new Nexus 7 will offer a better 7-inch display with more pixels per inch, meaning, users can enjoy HD videos, improved texts on e-Books, websites and more, and hopefully, the device would have an improve viewing angles for better "sharing."
The device is also likely to feature a 5 megapixels rear camera, which is lacking on last year's model. The new tablet will also have a 4G/LTE support to be at par with other tablets in the market.
