There has been an onslaught of “Mortal Kombat X” updates lately. Hot on the heels of the announcement of the netcode improvement for “Mortal Kombat X” online, NetherRealm Studios and Warner Bros have confirmed a new edition that will bundle all of the content released so far for “Mortal Kombat X.”

The new edition was teased in a new video, seen below, which features a lot of the memorable, disgusting and awesome fight scenes and fatalities in the game. Fans can also see the collection of characters that have been released to date.

In the video, the developer confirms that every fighter, skin, X-Ray, fatality and kombo are coming to the XL edition, gore and all. This means that everything that has been released in “Mortal Kombat X” so far will be included in the XL edition, dubbed creatively as “Mortal Kombat XL.”

Warner Bros. announced in a press release that the “Mortal Kombat XL” edition will contain several skin packs, like the Kold War Scorpion Skin Pack, the Samurai Skin Pack, the Brazil Skin Pack and the Kold War Skin Pack. It will also have the previously unreleased Apocalypse Skin Pack.

NetherRealm Studios has made the “Mortal Kombat XL” edition available for both digital and physical sales. It will debut on the PS4 and Xbox One come March 1. There is no news yet on whether a PC version will also be released later on.

In the meantime, fans can already sign up for the “Mortal Kombat X” Enhanced Online Beta. The only thing that players need to have is an hour’s worth of gameplay for the online component of “Mortal Kombat X” to be eligible for the beta.

As it is currently a closed beta, NetherRealm Studios has previously announced that not all of the players will be able to join. However, the developer also assured that more participants will be added to the beta in the coming weeks. It is also currently open only for the PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game.

Finally, just a little something for “Mortal Kombat X” fans to watch out for. Event Hubs reported that a Kombat Kast is already on the horizon. Happening this coming Sunday, the Kombat Kast is reportedly titled “The Cyber Initiative.”
