After a few leaks of the upcoming characters for “Mortal Kombat X” Kombat Pack 2, the developer has finally broke the silence. There are now four confirmed characters coming to the expansion.

In a press release, NetherRealm Studios and Warner Bros. confirmed the new additions coming with the “Mortal Kombat X.” Coming with the pack are two guest movie characters and two fighters from the “Mortal Kombat” lore. Headliner Leatherface from “The Texas Chainsaw Massacre” movies will be wielding his chainsaw in fatality fashion. Another horror movie guest star, this time from the sci-fi genre, is Xenomorph, which will be a treat for “Alien” fans.

From the “Mortal Kombat” realm, fighters Bo Rai Cho will be joining in. fans of Sektor, Cyrax and Robot Smoke will all be delighted to find parts of their respective favourites in the form of Tri-Borg.

A trailer has been released to show off the new Kombatants, with Leatherface leading the gorefest. The four new fighters will surely bring a different type of pain and fatality given their weapons. It would be interesting to see what their fatalities will be this time around.

Currently, there is no definite release date for the “Mortal Kombat X” Kombat Pack 2. H(Creitowever, NetherRealm Studios mentioned in the release that this will be coming sometime in early 2016. The price for the Kombat Pack 2 was also not mentioned.

For players who have yet to get a copy of “Mortal Kombat X,” the holidays are truly the best way to get one. PC players especially will benefit from the new deal that offers a pretty big discount.

GeekSnack spotted the new deal, which offered the Premium Edition of “Mortal Kombat X” over at Gamesplanet. According to the report, the edition is offered at a 75 percent discount. This edition contains a copy of the game, the first DLC pack for characters Jason Vorhees, Predator, Tanya and Tremor, and skins for a couple of “Mortal Kombat X” characters.

This is a great deal for those who want to play the game, especially since developer NetherRealm Studios has already confirmed the new characters included in the second Kombat Pack.
