Apparently, having a sex tape among reality stars is a rite of passage to Hollywood.

Another reality star shocked the industry by releasing one of her sex tapes. This time, the actress involved was none other than Mimi Faust of "Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta."

Faust is taped getting really hot and heavy with her beau Nikko Smith. While fans have outrageously reacted to the video, the stars involved were not ashamed of the leaked sex tape.

Her co-stars in "Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta" had a lot to say about the racy tape. While the general sentiment toward the video was distaste and disapproval, a source told Hollywood Life that Mimi's co-stars were just "jealous" of all the recent publicity she was getting.

Mimi's co-stars were mortified to hear about the pornographic flick released by the star. VH1 producers of the show have reported that Mimi's cast mates were not too understanding of Mimi. Another source, however, revealed the real feelings of her cast mates-that is, they were mad because they did not think of the idea first.

"Real talk, they're jealous of the fame she's getting off it but they don't have the balls to do one themselves. This came out of left field. Like, Mimi dropped a bomb and it exploded big time," a source close to "Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta" Star K. Michelle said to Hollywood Life.

K. Michelle even asked the star what on earth was she thinking, to which Mimi Faust replied:

"I was thinking about me and my family and doing it because I want to. Ain't no shame in this game here."

"K. was mortified but at the end of the day, it's Mimi who has to live with herself... Sometimes though, there are things more important than money. But more power to her," the source added to the news outlet.

It seemed Faust's sex tape was set to outsell reality star Farah Abraham's own porn flick!

According to Vivid Entertainment Founder Steven Hirsch, Mimi' sex tape could "have the potential to be even bigger than Farrah Abraham's recent release, Backdoor Teen Mom."

We were approached by a third party to release the tape. I wasn't familiar with Mimi and Nikko[Smith] or Love and Hip Hop Atlanta...

After doing some research, I realized just how big both the show and the tape could be. It was a struggle to ultimately get the deal done but we did. And this tape will be huge. Massive!" Hirsch further dished to Hollywood Life.
