Manchester United manager, Louis van Gaal salutes the series of saves from David de Gea during their game against Liverpool on Sunday. The Dutch truly lives up on the team's strength and good grip on the game against Liverpool, making its squad on the 3rd now. After the game, he is expecting Liverpool to strengthen its team's spirit for their come back on the Champions League. As they cleared off the game on Sunday to their favour, van Gaal proclaimed that there is more to see for his team's performance.

It is apparent on Louis van Gaal that he is not fully contented on how Manchester United played the game on Sunday as De Gea was still obliged to produce a series of saves just to bag victory. Seeing how the team's performance was somehow affected by their loss of defender Marcus Rojos to an injury, van Gaal declared that United still needs to improve their performance for a total win.

During an interview, van Gaal pointed out United's ultimate goal in every game: to improve on their playing style. According to him, there are many ways how to defeat a contender but there will always be a playing style that easily kills the game -- United is bound for the easy kill. The ultimate challenge for the team is to find and train on that killer playing style.

Manchester United came out victorious, yes, but still, the team had also given a lot of chances, which if not because of the superb reactions of David de Gea, would not have saved them. The super-saver David de Gea provided Manchester United a clean sheet and the team is gratified, but according to van Gaal, this should not always be the case and they are bound to train for it. As he said, there will always be an easy kill.

Van Gaal considered David de Gea as one of the most influential players. Together with the team, the manager said they can make impossible happen on the field given the proper training improvement on the team's playing style. On the other hand, Brendan Rodgers, Liverpool counterpart, has declared a no-pressure on his part despite their team falling on the 9th at the Premier League.

Rodgers, manager for Liverpool has dropped off the team list its goal keeper Simon Mignolet over Brad Jones who will be on Wednesday's League cup tie at Bournemouth. There was nothing sour between Rodgers and Simon as the latter had been sport about the manager's decision. As for Rodgers, making such a change seemed necessary after the Basel game.
