Have you tried jumping on a frozen trampoline? An Iowa native does just that, with hilarious results.

The man who goes by the username ADub decided to go out of the house and play with the trampoline. In the video clip he uploaded over his Vine account, the trampoline looks just like any other trampoline. But when he jumped off it, something awesome happened.

The trampoline was apparently lined with a thin layer of ice, and it broke into ice shards that produced a shattering sound, just like a broken glass.

As of writing time, the Vine clip which has the caption "Ice storms be like ... #Iowa #chill shattered" had more than 120,000 likes, 153,000 revines or shares, and more than 2,500 comments. The clip has also made rounds in news websites and social media platforms.

Here are some of the comments made on the Vine clip taken from various websites:

SBNation: Jumping on a frozen trampoline is a terrible idea. WHY WOULD ANYONE DO THIS?

Independent: This video is an interesting new take on cold weather videos, which usually consist of people playing with water temperature.

MSN Australia: An over-eager kid, a trampoline and a polar vortex.

Telegraph UK: No further comment.

E! Online, however, has a word of caution for those who would like to try this and other Polar Vortex experiments:

"Kids, please do not try this yourself. We know life is all about one-upping other people, but if you try and jump into a frozen pool or something...well, you remember what happened with that guy."

The polar vortex has been affecting the Midwestern, Southeastern and Northeastern states in the United States, bringing in extremely low temperatures and causing damage to millions of dollars worth of property.
