Now more than anything else do locals in many areas in London need to feel that much-needed support after the disturbing riots that ravaged the country’s many establishments, not to mention the devastating effects it caused many of the victims and their families.

Locals have gathered on the street to pay tribute to three Muslim men killed by a car during the mayhem in Winson Green Area of Birmingham in Central England on Thursday, August 11, 2011.

A group of men offered prayers on the same street the three was killed at the incident while some place floral tributes to the victims. The three men were reportedly run over by a car at the height of the violence in the area.

According to Reuters, the local authorities have already initiated their investigation on the killings. Citing a friend of the victims as telling BBC radio, Reuters noted that they are a part of a group of British Asians who had protected the area from the looters.

Violence escalated as group of youngsters instigated riots and lootings in many suburban areas in London over the weekend.

Six days since the riots began, messages of love and support have been pasted on the wall in hopes for peace during these trying times.
