Previously there was a rumour on the internet that two Nexus devices will be announced this October. One of the devices would be a smartphone and the other is a tablet. These rumours were doing the rounds just three or four days ago. Now, there are fresh rumours that the Nexus 9 would be released in an event that will be held in October, but so far Google has not made any official announcement.

Android Police a reliable website that has a good track record of predicting what Google is going to do and when, have stated on their site that Google is scheduling an event for October 15. This event will see the release of the Google Nexus 9, Android wear 2.0, Android L and Android T.V. If it is so, this could be a big event that will see so many products being unveiled by Google after such a long time gap.

However, there has been no official statement or confirmation from Google. According to Android Headlines the owner of Android Police Artem Russakovskii has said that the event is scheduled to happen on the 15th of October 2014. But with Apple scheduling an event for October 16 to unveil its new iPad, so it may not be possible that Google would schedule their event at the same time. The unveiling of Google products will happen in the days to come, but we need to wait and see what the tech giant will do.

The Android Wear 2.0 is an update to the Android Watch that will enable the smartwatch with new features. After the update the smartwatch will have more independent features after it is disconnected from the smartphone. The Android L the latest version of Android will also offer new features. The Nexus 9 the much awaited device with all the technology packed in it is the main attraction that people are waiting to see. So if Google does hold an event for October 15 this is what can be expected from it.
