Kelly Osbourne lauded Giuliana Rancic for her quick apology to Zendaya for her hair comment on the show after she was reportedly appalled when the controversial comment was made. However, despite applauding her co-host's move, she still decided to quit "Fashion Police," as she threatened to do when the feud first broke out. Meanwhile, it was reported that Giuliana did not come up with the hateful joke on her own after all, as it was scripted, but she still apologised.

TMZ reports that Kelly Osbourne "had it" with "Fashion Police" and decided to quit. According to the sources, even though she threatened to quit the show when the feud between Giuliana and Disney star Zendaya broke out over a hair comment, Kelly is already at odds with the show's producers as early as when the first episode the cast taped without the late Joan Rivers. Nevertheless Kelly was so happy when Giuliana apologised to Zendaya over her controversial hair comment. “It takes a strong women to apologize & makes a forgiving women even stronger! #ThisTooShallPass,” Osbourne, 30, tweeted late Wednesday.

In a related news, however, Mail Online UK reports that Giuliana’s hair jibe was not even her own. A source said that the writers of the said show came up with that joke and no one from the E Network complained. Giuliana, however, did not want to make excuses for herself so she decided to make the apology.

The whole incident started when former Disney star Zendaya did not like that Giuliana said her [Zendaya's] Oscar’s do, which featured a head of dreadlocks, probably smelled like “patchouli oil” or “weed.” Zendaya posted a long message that she felt insulted. She also said the hair comment was akin to being racist against African Americans, who often have to deal with bad comments of their different hair. Giuliana was quick to recognise her mistake and said sorry immediately through Twitter. She also said she would never make a raicst comment.

Kelly, for her part, felt compelled to respond when the feud broke out. She first said she never joined Giuliana for the comment and that Zendaya is her friend. She tweeted that the feud, especially because it has a racist undertone, is making her seriously contemplate leaving the show. “Fashion Police” has become almost a staple during red carpet events and has a lot of fans.

Melissa Rivers, "Fashion Police" producer and daughter of the late outspoken host Joan Rivers, also revealed on the program how much the show appreciates Zendaya with an early Throwback Thursday picture. “#TBT We @e_FashionPolice have nothing but love for @Zendaya then and now,” the caption read. The photo showed Zendaya and Joan Rivers together on set, obviously very fond of each other.
