“Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” director Zack Snyder recently gave an update on his progress in making the “Justice League.” He also hinted that a possible bigger villain will be against the heroes when the movie hits theatres in 2017.

Snyder talked about his progress on “Justice League” during an interview with Diana Madison from Obsessed With Everything. “We're working on 'Justice League' right now, right?" he said.

He didn’t reveal any other details about his work on the two-part movie. However, he teased what fans can expect to see from the film.

“Justice League is the next step for these characters to form a bigger team. Maybe there's a bigger enemy to fight,” he told Madison during his interview.

The first “Justice League” opens in US theatres on Nov. 17, 2017. It’s unclear if Snyder was referring to having two separate bigger villains in each movie.

According to Collider, in the DC comic books, Darkseid is considered the major enemy for the Justice League. Whether Snyder plans to have the villain in both movies is still uncertain. It’s also still unclear if he was referring to Darkseid as the “bigger enemy” in “Justice League.”

In the same interview with Obsessed With Everything, Snyder also talked about the conflict between Bruce Wayne and Clark Kent in “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.” The director considered it to be the “drama” in the film.

“I think that the fun of the movie is that in the end, it’s drama. In the end it’s about, they have to figure out each other in order to fight each other, so it’s really about what makes them tick and how that works out in a conflict,” he said.

A fan who claimed to have seen an early screening of “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” revealed that the first act in the movie will focus on Batman and Superman’s conflict. The second part will be all about the “Dawn of Justice” side of the film. Interestingly, the said fan also mentioned that the third act of “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” will feature the Justice League. A fully assembled Justice League team will reportedly be briefly glimpsed near the end of the movie.
