Jason Derulo says he could go to jail over raucous birthday party stormed by LAPD

Jason Derulo recently opened up about the events that happened during his birthday party last month. The singer talked about how he could face jail time over a mere noise complaint that resulted to an LAPD raid.
The Sun’s Dan Wootton caught up with the singer at Bizarre HQ where he recalled the events leading up to the police bust. Derulo said the party “was fly” and that they were having so much fun up until the police came bursting in uninvited to his home.
“Then all of a sudden a helicopter starts circling my house. I’m like, ‘What the f**k? An hour later 50 police officers come barging in. I was like, 'Is this really necessary? This is embarrassing," he said.
Derulo added the police was brought to his home because of a noise complaint. But strange thing was he claimed he didn’t really have any neighbours close by.
However, because of the raucous party, Derulo might up in jail. He told Wootton that he has to “go to court” and that he “might be in jail for eight years.”
Jokingly, Derulo mocked his own prison term and said, “They'' go, 'What you in for?' 'Erm, noise complaints.’”
The incident reportedly happened during the singer’s 26th birthday bash last month. Derulo was celebrating at his home in Tarzana, California. He and his friend The Game held a “night swim” party with 40 bikini-clad women.
The party reportedly got wild and that’s when the police showed up. He said he kicked all but six of his male guests before turning down the volume of the music. He, then,sc reportedly continued with the party in his bedroom.
Derulo said he didn’t let the police hamper the party mood. After they left he had a night swim with his brother, The Game, with the 40 women and with the six guys. The singer even shared a photo of his bikini-clad guests enjoying their time on the pool on his Instagram page. According to Mirror UK, the female guests applied to be in the party through promoters. They were specifically chosen out of a guest list provided by the promoters.
