The Apple iPhone 7 and OnePlus 3 are two amazing smartphones in the market today. While iPhone 7 is the best bet for those looking for a high-end phone with all the best features, the OnePlus 3 is one hell of a deal for buyers on a tight budget but looking for specs-rich phones.

The OnePlus 3 has earned the name “Flagship Killer” for offering some incredible specs at only US$399 (AU$530). Although Apple’s flagship smartphone iPhone 7 is reportedly the most talked about phone in the market today, OnePlus 3’s features have led users to compare the two.

iPhone 7 kicked up a storm for a lot of reasons. It made news for pretty much everything. It is the first Apple iPhone to be made dustproof and waterproof. The tech giant has dropped the 3.5mm earphone jack and added the Lightning EarPods.

The Apple iPhone 7 sports an upgraded A10 processor that makes the smartphone superfast and a multitasking wonder. It can handle a plethora of apps and functions without a stutter. Moreover, it runs on the iOS 10 operating system, the latest from Apple.

Apple has also made improvements to the Home Button adding the new pressure-sensitive technology that makes it more powerful than before. Apple CEO Tim Cook has described the iPhone 7 as the “world’s most advanced smartphone,” reports Tech Radar.

The price has been set at US$649 (AU$1,079) for the 32GB variant, US$749 (AU$1,229) for the 128GB variant and US$849 (AU$1,379) for the 256GB variant.

However, the OnePlus 3 is not one to be overlooked. It has the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor as that in Samsung Galaxy Note 7 and S7 smartphones. A 1080p AMOLED 5.5-inch display takes the OnePlus 3 at par with some of the most-expensive smartphones available today.

The smartphone display panel is gorgeous and perfect for watching movies. Some have even found its vibrant display better than Apple iPhone 7’s Retina screen. Neither of the two support microSD cards and users will have to rely on internal storage only.

As far as battery life is considered, OnePlus 3 is the clear winner. Users can get a day and a half of usage with every charge whereas iPhone 7 gives users over a day of usage between charges, writes Recombu.
