iPhone 6 Release Date Most Likely in November or December, Suggests Latest Apple Memo
iPhone 6 release date may happen in November or December, a recent internal memo from Apple execs has implied.
9to5Mac revealed an internal memo from Apple in which the management ask employees around the world for ideas for selling and supporting the iPhone.
"Do you have a great idea about iPhone?" the memo begins. "Do you have a thought about something that is missing in the store environment that would help bring iPhone to life?" Apple employees are all invited to submit their ideas for the new iPhone. The team of selected candidate will fly to California for an eight-week trip from August to October 2013 to brainstorm the next iPhone event.
Thus, this suggests that the iPhone 6 release date may be scheduled sometime in November or December, right before the holiday season.
Rumour has it that Apple's iPhone 6 will be powered by A7 quad core processor, which claimed to be faster than the previous processor. The processor will be paired with iOS 7 operating system, which is packed with new and better features.
Apple may have planned to bump the storage capacity of its smartphones. iPhone 6 is said to be coming with 16GB, 32GB, 64GB, 128GB internal storage. However, the Cupertino-based company remained tight-lipped on the rumours surrounding its devices.
Reports said that Apple does not like the way that consumers opt to buy their iPhones via carriers rather than an Apple store. The whole point of Apple Stores, the reason they were instituted, is that Apple did not like the way its products were being sold in generic box-shifting computing stores. If a customer comes into the Apple Store they get the whole Apple experience, not to mention being exposed to other Apple products such as iPad and Mac.
