The iPhone's 6 was open for pre-order on the online Apple store last Friday, September 12. Unfortunately, not many people were able to access their website as it was over loaded. Many fans and customers were pretty eager and enthusiastic to place their orders, but were in for disappointment when they faced perpetual delay.

Some customers reported that the iPhone 6 Plus was sold out. Other carrier websites like AT&T, Sprint and T-Mobile was overloaded as well to the point that customers were frustrated.

A spokesperson for Apple told the tech blog Re/Code that the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus had smashed sales record, but he did not disclose the number of Phones that were sold neither did Apple make any statements.

Apple has a massive data centre in North Carolina to encounter problems like this, but the iPhone 6 surpassed the demands that blocked the company servers. The iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus are best sellers of all time iPhones.

Both phones were unveiled last September 9 with much anticipation and fervour from fans all over the world. The iPhones 6 and iPhone 6 Plus are the most written about phones on the internet and newspapers.

If you were unable to per-order your phone below are the list of places the order could be placed.

Pre-orders for the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus will begin on September 19 in the U.S., Australia, Canada, France, Germany, U.K, Singapore, Japan, Hong Kong and Puerto Rico.

The per-orders will start at midnight at the respective regions.

U.S.

Price of iPhone 6 for a two year contract

$199 for 16GB, $299 for 64GB and $399 for 128GB.

Pre-orders available from AT&T, Sprint and Verizon.

$299 for 16GB, $399 for 64GB and $499 for 128GB

Offers available

Sprint offers a Life Plan where the user rents the handset for a monthly rental of $70. The rental is broken down to $50 for calls, data and text messages and $20 for the handset. According to Sprint this will save the customer $575 in two years. This deal is available only for the iPhone 6 with 16 GB storage. After two years the customer has to return the phone in working condition and can avail the latest model.

Apple has dropped their prices on the previous versions of iPhone. Contract on 5C will be free, the 5S, 16GB will cost $99 and $149 for the 32GB variant.

U.K.

Unlocked Phones

Apple iPhone 6 unlocked can be bought from the Apple Store for £539 for the 16GB, £619 for the 64GB and £699 for the 128GB.

The iPhone 6 Plus would cost £619 for the 16GB, £699 for the 64GB and £789 for the 128GB.

Apple is also offering pay as you go starter packs from their store. This includes three packs that costs £15 for unlimited data, 300 minutes and 300 text messages for one month.

Offers from carriers

O2 offer a pack for £15 a month for 4G data, 200 minutes and 2000 text messages.

Vodafone gives the cheapest deal for £26.50 a month for unlimited text messages, 100 minutes and 100 MB data.

To avail a free handset on a two year contract the user has to pay £48.50 a month for 4GB data, unlimited calls and text messages.

Phones4U cheapest monthly pack costs £35.99 on EE, for two years. It also offers unlimited text messages and calls, with an upfront cost of £199.99.

People who do not want to pay an upfront fee will have to pay for Vodafone's £48.50 deal that is also available through Phones4U.

Three, Virgin Media and EE have not released their contract prices.

Online retailer, Mobiles.co.uk, is offering the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus from £43.50 per month.

On Mobiles.co.uk customers can choose on what network they would like to sign up for.

Dropped prices for the iPhone 5C is £319 for 8GB, while the iPhone 5S now costs £459 for 16GB and £499 for 32GB.
