New iPad Pro concept image boasts of a 13-inch screen display with 4K resolution and OS X software.

Set Solution has created a new video containing the latest render of iPad Pro. It developed concept images of various Apple products.

According to Concept-Phones, iPad Pro features include a bigger Retina display, which is a big jump from 9.7-inch screen size to 13 inches. The resolution could range from 2K to 4K. Previous rumors claimed the tablet will have such pixel resolution.

The video also showed the device will run with OS X software and will be used in Apple MacBooks and MacPro. Consumers can assume better and faster processing than previous iPads as the full experience of OS X will now be available in the tablet. One of the best assets of the concept image is that users can connect mic and keyboards to the tablet and use it as a desktop device.

It is critical for Apple to release a bigger tablet since Samsung unveiled its own 13-inch slate with Samsung Galaxy Note Pro 12.2. Other features for inclusion in iPad Pro are Apple A8 64 bit CPU paired with 2 GB RAM and up to 128 GB internal storage.

An Apple patent spotted by Apple Insider suggested that future Apple devices, including the rumored iPad Pro, will pack pressure-sensitive bezels. This allows the company to include pressure sensors in the bezel that may eliminate the physical home button and be replaced by capacitive or virtual buttons.

Meanwhile, other reports claimed iPad Pro will come in two variants packing different resolutions. Both models will pack 12.9-inch screen size but will come with varying screen resolutions - 2K and 4K display. But Apple has not disclosed any details yet.

Also, reports claimed the two models will have separate release dates. The tablet with 2K display will be launched in May while the 4K variant will be in October. This rumor was backed up by a report from DigiTimes, saying that the device to be out in October. The publication also added Apple is expected to get shipments of 80 to 90 million units from a Taiwanese supplier.
