The director of “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2,” Francis Lawrence spoke about how the star cast member of the series Jennifer Lawrence has changed over the years. The director has worked with the actress in three movies now and may be working with her again in another project soon.

Jennifer Lawrence has won many awards, including an Oscar, for her performance in different movies. Francis Lawrence spoke about the actress to MTV and explained how her career took off in the year 2013, when the second movie from “The Hunger Games” franchise was released.

The director pointed out that by the time “The Hunger Games: Catching Fire” came out, Jennifer Lawrence was already immensely popular. But, during this time her career is said to have experienced an “explosion.” The director may have been hinting at the Oscar she won in that year for her performance in “Silver Linings Playbook.”

Jennifer Lawrence has become a very successful actress at a young age and Francis Lawrence felt that this success made life “a little tougher” for her. The actress apparently had to “close off to the outside world” in order to cope with all the attention she was getting.

Readers should note that “The Hunger Games: Catching Fire” is also the movie where Katniss Everdeen begins to find courage to fight the Capitol and emerge as a symbol for the resistance forces. The producers have also released a video of all the logos of the movies from the franchise and the changing logos also represent the increasing confidence of the protagonist over the years.

Francis Lawrence also revealed that he is talking to Jennifer about coming together again for a movie called “The Dive.” The movie is apparently a pet project of James Cameron, but Francis said that James has not been interested in directing the movie himself for some time now.

Jennifer Lawrence will next be seen in “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay: Part 2,” which is slated to be released on Nov 19, 2015 in Australia and New Zealand. The release date for the U.S, UK and Canada has been set on November 20.
