HTC Titan II, Nokia Lumia 900: Awesome Windows Phones in CES 2012 [PHOTOS]
Two amazing Windows phones debuted in the recent Consumers Electronics Show 2012. These are HTC Titan II and the Nokia Lumia 900.
Nokia and HTC presented their newest handsets running with the mobile operating system in the CES 2012. Apart from the reliable OS, the two phones are also packed with great specs and features. The CES showcased various high end gadgets and devices and these two smartphones caught critics' eye.
Design
The Nokia Lumia 900 sports a clean hardware design including a 4.3-inch AMOLED ClearBlack display. The device is bursting with brightness and vivid detail. The HTC Titan II, on the other hand, looks very similar to its predecessor. The device is still equipped with 4.7-inch screen that is the same size of Galaxy Nexus'. However, the HTC Titan II is a little thicker.
Processor and LTE
The Nokia Lumia 900 is equipped with a 1.4 GHz processor. While the HTC Titan II is not sporting a dual core processor leaving a lot of people disappointed. It is equipped with the 1.5GHz Snapdragon 2 processor. However, the two phones operate on AT&T's 4G LTE network that promised greater speed and allows users to download and upload in a matter of seconds.
Camera
The Nokia Lumia 900 has a 1-megapixel front camera and an 8-megapixel rear camera. The front camera paves the way for video calling to other smartphones. The rear camera boasted the latest Carl Zeiss optics. The HTC Titan II, on the other hand, sports a 1.3-megapixel front camera and a 16-megapixel rear camera that comes with a wide-angle lens like in Amaze 4G and myTouch 4G Slide. Moreover, it has various camera settings and features that allow users to take different shots such as the "burst mode" for taking a bunch of pictures in a row, a panorama mode, and others.
The Nokia Lumia 900 is currently a U.S.-specific device. There is no word yet as to how much these devices will cost and to when it will be available on AT&T. However, based from the above specifications, these are the best Windows phones yet.
