HP is a well-known name in the computer industry. Recently, they parted ways with Hewlett-Packard after this event HP unveiled the HP 10 Plus tablet without a big affair. This product came in focus because it was found on the HP product page on its website.

The specifications of the HP 10 Plus as given on the website: the dimensions of the tablet is 10.43 x 6.89 x 0.37 inches and weighs 660 grams. It is powered by Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system and a ARM Cortex, A7 Quad-core processors with 1 GHz of clock speed. The display is multi-touch enabled 1,920 x 1,200 p and is 10.1 inches full HD. It functions on 2 GB of DDR3L SDRAM with internal storage of 16 GB and a microSD slot for expandable memory. This tablet is fuelled by a 7,700 mAh Li-ion battery and has battery life up to 6 hours. It has an integrated 2 mega pixels which is 720p front facing camera and 5 mega pixels with 1,080p auto focus rear facing camera. HP 10 Plus is preloaded with all the essential apps. It is available in silver colour.

In terms of the warranty the company is offering 1 year of hardware warranty, 90 days of technical support and 30 days of software support from the day of purchase of the product. The HP 10 Plus is priced at $280 and £175, is available for purchased on its website. It is also sold on Amazon for the same price.

According to Digital Versus, although this company has been doing large scale restructuring which began in 2012 and it had to cut jobs of 29,000 employees the company did not sit laid back but to gain a foothold in the android market went ahead and launched the HP 10 Plus. As regards to its specifications according to Android Community this tablet has decent enough specifications though it is not the latest version of Android, but much better than the lower versions of tablets available. They also go on to say that it could be to cut costs.
