It is amazing how at one second one may think the world is crumbling into a chaotic mess, but in times of need humanity shows that it still has a bit of "human" left in it.

Upon the onslaught of "Haiyan" or locally known typhoon in the Philippines as "Yolanda" many people and families have seen their houses torn by one of the strongest typhoons to have ever hit the group of islands in the South East side of Asia. The country has seen many typhoons, around twenty or more typhoons each year and has been capable of getting past each and every typhoon. It just goes to show that the Filipinos are strong willed people and know how find "happiness" and look upon each natural calamity with optimism.

The country was hit with an earthquake just a few weeks before "Yolanda" hit in Leyte, Samar and Tacloban, Homes were shredded many bodies were found under wreckage.

When all hope seemed to have been lost, nations, countries and people of different cultures have joined hands in order to help the Philippines get through this ordeal. Numerous nations have been donating and sending food, clothes, donations, medical needs.

The distraught nation is touched by the number of prayers and heartwarming tweets that has been sent out by various Hollywood celebrities in order to raise donations for the victims of the typhoon:

Barbadian beauty, Rihanna tweeted saying:

"Navy, please keep the people of The Philippines in your prayers! I was just there and this truly breaks my heart."

Talk show host and Filipino loving celebrity Ellen De Generes also tweeted on Nov 12 to her millions of fans to help donate for the victims of the typhoon:

"The devastation from Typhoon Haiyan is heartbreaking. You can help the Red Cross relief efforts here. http://ellen.tv/1eEHWER."

Ewan McGregor, the star of "Moulin Rouge" and "Impossible" a story about how a family was able to reunite after the Tsunami that hit Phuket, Thailand, who tweeted saying,

"Support UNICEF's emergency relief efforts for kids in the #Philippines . How to help: http://uncf.us/1iS7EDh #Haiyan."

Kevin Bacon also took to twitter by posting: "Please help: join me to support Typhoon #Haiyan relief."

"The Voice" coach Christina Aguilera also showed her support in helping raise donations by tweeting:

"Let's help families hit by typhoon #haiyan . My friends @WFP are on the ground. Help here http://wfp.org/typhoon . Thank you! XoXtina."

Even "One Direction" boy bander, Harry Styles had tweeted saying:

"Millions in the Philippines need clean water & shelter now. @oxfamgb is there: donate to their #Haiyan appeal! http://bit.ly/1gCHyaB"
