In anticipation of “Halo 5: Guardians.” GameStop has released an exclusive trailer showing off Spartan Locke in action. Following the two-part teaser that showed the perspectives of both Locke and Master Chief in what appears to be the final face-off, the new trailer shows Locke defeating the Covenant. His mission is to find Master Chief.

Xbox Wire announced the release of the newest trailer alongside some GameStop preorder bonuses. One bonus is the exclusive Spartan Locke Hunter-class armour set, which players can use in the multiplayer. Paired with this is the Hunter-class helmet, which enhances the wearer’s awareness of the situations and of threats. Players should make sure to get the store receipt for the in-store preorder for the code. Online preorders can expect the code via email.

The arrival of the trailer, particularly with all of the action involving Spartan Locke, appears to have interested fans on whether or not they are watching something from in-game. Gamepur spotted a statement from 343 Industries’ Josh Holmes.

According to the executive producer, the trailer only features CGI animation. It is a pre-rendered animation that the developer used to explore the new Spartan abilities coming to “Halo 5: Guardians.”

In continuing his investigation Giraud found that there is discontent within the military. Again, the issue of him being a traitor was brought up, with people questioning Master Chief’s supposed motives.

Giraud finally found himself in the middle of an alarming kind of surveillance, following his paranoia that he may have been monitored during his interview. Most of this week’s episode was concerned with what Giraud will be doing next, considering the possibilities that his actions may have resulted into.
