Get double RP and 50 percent discounts for the Capture Week event on "GTA Online." Rockstar Games

Rockstar Games has announced a new ongoing event dubbed Capture Week. There ar three days left to take advantage of double GTA$ and RP, as well as get an unlockable new item and hot discounts in the store.

Over at the official Newswire, the developer announced that event will last for the whole week until May 26. From May 23 to 26, there will be a Double RP playlist for eight players. For Condo-monium, GTA: Grab a Cab and Hold: Freight Fright.

Those who may have logged in over the weekend should have gotten their “GTA Online” exclusive shirt. The Solomon Richards’ box office hit “Meltdown” shirt can be obtained just by logging in, and it’s available only during the event.

Most of the discounts offered for the week slash the prices off by 50 percent. The Gold Luxor luxury aircraft, stock and armoured Kuruma vehicle, select engine upgrades, Turbo mods and brakes, explosives like grenades, sticky bombs, proximity mines and rockets via Ammu-Nation and even “GTA Online Heists” clothing are all available at half the price.

There is also one remaining live stream for the week. After the Capture Week event, Rockstar Games will be holding a “GTA Online” live stream on May 27. The stream will feature Pro Era featuring Joey Bada$$, Kirk Knight, Nyck Caution, CJ Fly, Aaron Rose and Dessy Hinds. The stream will be held at 5:00 pm ET.

For those who missed the previously scheduled live stream, Rockstar Games has already uploaded the two-hour stream featuring BowskiJ, Summit1G and CJMusik. The stream featured racing via the Lowriders: Custom Classics as well as the other competitive gameplay modes of “GTA Online.” The stream can be viewed in the video below.

Recently, the parent publisher company Take-Two Interactive has given some hints on its plans for game releases in the future. Without giving any specifics as to what projects it has lined up, Take-Two did hint that it will be doing a new gaming announcement soon.

“Rockstar Games is of course hard at work on some exciting future projects that will be revealed soon,” Take-Two stated in an earnings call, as quoted by Express.

Considering that June is almost here, the E3 2016 may hold some reveals from the company.
