Nobody ever thought that the HTC made Nexus 9 that was leaked by NVIDIA was truly going to be released. Most were sceptical about the rumours. However, the Nexus 9 will indeed be released. The Nexus 9 in actuality had to be called Nexus 8, but due to the large screen of 8.9 inches it would be apt to call it Nexus 9. According to the reports, Nexus 9 will be powered by Android L and will become the ultimate tablet in gaming to be available in the market.

However, with that said most of the Nexus smartphones have had problems with the battery life of their devices. But the Nexus tablets were just the opposite with Nexus 7 and Nexus 10 having prolonged battery life. According to Android Headlines the new Nexus 9 will most probably have a 5,000 mAh battery. This is a speculation made on the grounds that the Nexus 7 had a 3,950 mAh battery. Now with the Tegra K1 processor that will definitely enhance the quality of gaming and the performance of the tablet, it will also need that extra juice for the tablet to perform all its tasks.

Since the Nexus 9 will be powered by Android L that has great battery saving features. This could be deciphered from early previews of Android L that has increased battery life for about 30 per cent that is actually quite big. Android Headlines state that if the user is getting 15 hours off the charger with 3 hours on screen, Android L will increase the battery life by bringing 20 hours and 4 hours on screen that in reality is a lot and something to think about.

The chip set in the Nexus 9 that is powered by NVIDIA is 1.5 times more proficient than other chipset and it would be very important for the device to have a battery that has prolonged life.

HTC was working on the Nexus 9 tablet for several months now and it is very interesting to note that HTC has not developed a tablet since 2011. However, when we take a look at the designs of HTC it is sure that the Nexus 9 is going to be a great device with lots of things packed into it.
