The Google Nexus 10 2 release date will happen in Nov. 22 to battle head on with the release of iPad Mini with Retina display.

A recent leaked image of the device tipped on the release of Google's 10-inch tablet. The original version of the picture featured the words "LG Electronics Nexus 10 November 22 LTE black and white." The message was translated by Phone Arena, which was originally written in Korean.

Nov.22 marked as the release date of iPad Mini with Retina display when buyers can purchase Apple's miniature tablet.

Another leaked image of the Nexus 10 2 allegedly from Telefonica reveals what the price could be for the upcoming Nexus device. The image revealed the price to cost around $482 for the cellular and wifi model. The wifi-only will surely be cheaper. The Nexus 10 normally retails for $399 for the 16GB wifi-only model and $499 for the version with cellular connectivity. The second generation model is expected to cost around the same.

However, Pocket-Lint reported that Telefonica confirmed that the "leaked" picture alleged to come from its O2 is fake. "This is not a Telefonica image and we are not aware of a new Nexus 10," it explained.

Right now, there is no way to confirm the validity of the other image, but considering that the first image has been denied by the company from which it is purported to have leaked. Both images should be treated as grains of salt.

What is considered as surprising is that both leaked photos pointed that Google is tapping LG Electronics to make the tablet. This could be due to the immense success of LG Nexus 4 and Nexus 5. Both devices are well-received by the consumers.

Meanwhile, the Google Nexus 10 2 release date is still unconfirmed by the search engine giant but it is speculated that the tablet will arrive before the holidays. Previous rumours point to a possible release date on Black Friday Sale.

According to rumours, Google Nexus 10 2 will retain its 10 inches screen display with a 2560x1600 pixel resolution. It will pack a quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, 8 MP and 2.1 MP back and front camera as well as 9,500 mAh battery capacity. Other rumours claimed that the next generation of Google Nexus 10 will have a larger internal storage and an expandable storage via MicroSD slot as well as LTE Connectivity support that were skipped on the current Nexus 10. It is given that the 10-inch tablet will run with the latest Android 4.4 KitKat. Google is known for offering cheap yet high quality devices.
