Bryan Cranston got the Golden Globe Award for the his role in "Breaking Bad," but it was his co-star Aaron Paul who stole the show for the benefit of the defunct series.

The actor who played Walter White in the AMC series won the Golden Globe Award as Best Actor in a TV Series-Drama, besting out Liev Schreiber of "Ray Donovan," Michael Sheen of "Masters of Sex," Kevin Spacey of "House of Cards" and James Spader of "The Blacklist."

Bryan thanked the show's creator Vince Gilligan for the opportunity in the TV series, which ended its five-season run in September.

'I'm up here because of Vince Gilligan,' said Bryan. 'He's a genius.'

He also said that the award was a 'wonderful honor' for him, and is also a 'lovely way to say goodbye to the show that meant so much to me.'

'[Thanks to this], everyone around the world will be able to share in Breaking Bad's mirth and merriment,' says Bryan further.

Gilligan accepted the Golden Globe for Best TV Drama for the show he created, along with Bryan and Aaron Paul.

'I gotta say the best thing about this is it gives all the people up here and folks who worked on Breaking Bad one more chance to thank the fans of the show,' said Vince in his acceptance speech.

Aaron, on the other hand, did not win the Best Supporting Actor for TV Series-Drama award; but he did steal the show for the Breaking Bad team as they accepted the Best TV Drama award. But not without Vince introducing him first.

'I think I speak for all the folks...when I say-actually, the best person to say it, I think would be Aaron Paul,' said Vince to the audience.

Aaron then takes the microphone and says, 'Yeah, b****! Thank you!'
