Much-awaited “Ghost Recon Wildlands” open beta patch is finally available for download. Now players can register through their RSVP option in order to be first in line for the beta download.

The open beta patch update for “Ghost Recon Wildlands” is available for download Tuesday at 6:00 a.m. EST (9:00 p.m. AEST Monday) for those who are using the Windows, Xbox One and Playstation 4 platform. The open beta patch will be live starting Thursday at 6:00 a.m. EST until Feb. 27 at 6:00 AM EST.

Players can now download the “Ghost Recon Wildlands” update, which is a total of 23.55GB memory for Windows. For those who are using the Xbox One platform, expect the beta patch to be a 20.8GB download. Finally, for the PlayStation 4 platform, the download will be a total of 21GB. For those who are planning to RSVP for the open beta just simply register at the Ghost Recon beta website.

The open beta is set to be played using the multiplayer co-op option. Players can team up with their friends and strategise to defeat the cartel. Players can decide on the best tactic to use with each battle. They can go from a stealth mode mission to an all out “guns-a-blazing” no holds barred assault.

Furthermore, players can choose between two new maps for this patch. Both of these provinces will allow players to explore once again the terrains of Itacua or dive into the new area of Montuyoc.

The Itacua province will bring a bit of a nostalgic feel to how players have previously played the game. This area will allow gamers to gain experience boosts in order to unlock new skills before going to the unfamiliar territory of Montuyoc.

Montuyoc, on the other hand, is a more dangerous field to navigate in. This is the training ground of the Santa Blanca Cartel. Players will have to complete the mission wherein they need to destabilise the alliance between the Cartel and the Unidad.

But before players could enjoy the game to the fullest, they will be invited to watch a second official live stream of Tom Clancy’s “Ghost Recon Wildlands” Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. CET (3:00 a.m. AEST Wednesday). The stream will give additional details about the new contents in the open beta patch.

There will also be a brief introduction of the Montuyoc region, and, of course, players would get to participate in several-give away sessions. More details about this open data patch can be viewed on the Ghost Recon website.
