'Genshin Impact': Best Arataki Itto Artifacts, Weapons And Team Comps

As the latest addition to “Genshin Impact’s” roster of characters, Itto provides what might be the highest sustained DPS out of all Geo characters and the fastest attack speed of all Claymore users in the game.

Itto is a selfish DPS character in the same vein as Razor and Eula. While he doesn’t provide much in terms of team-wide support, he makes up for it with raw damage. Here are some of Arataki itto’s best builds and team synergies that prove he is The One and Oni.

How To Play Itto

Most of Itto’s damage comes from the various buffs he can provide himself with through his abilities. His Elemental Skill, Akaushi Burst, makes him throw a young bull that aggros enemies while providing Itto stacks of Superlative Strength.

Superlative Strength greatly buffs Itto’s Charged Attack, turning into a devastating chain of hits that ends with a Plunging Attack. This effect also removes the stamina consumption of his Charged Attacks.

Itto’s Elemental Burst, Royal Descent, boosts his attack speed while also buffing his damage based on his DEF stat. Additionally, this ability converts his weapon attack damage to Geo damage at the cost of reducing his Elemental and Physical resistances.

When playing Itto, try to get as many stacks of Superlative Strength before using his Burst and keep using his Charged Attacks to maximize damage. Don’t forget to shield him up before unleashing his Oni mode to keep him safe from harm.

Best Artifacts For Itto

Itto’s innate DEF scaling makes him a prime candidate for the Husk of Opulent Dreams set, as it grants stacking DEF bonuses and an extra source of bonus Geo damage. Players can still go with a 4-piece Gladiator set, but Opulent Dreams will provide the best bonuses.

For stat priorities, try to get as much DEF, Geo DMG, CRIT Rate and CRIT DMG on all pieces. Geo DMG will give Itto better damage while in his Burst; ATK% will buff his damage at all times.

Best Weapons For Itto

The Redhorn Stonethresher is tailor-made for Itto. Its innate DEF stats and DEF damage scaling are perfect for Itto’s kit. However, Whiteblind can be a great F2P alternative as it provides similar stats.

Best Arataki Itto Team Compositions

Since Geo doesn’t deal any extra damage with reactions, it’s best to pair Itto with another Geo character and two Pyro characters to gain the best passive bonuses. Use Zhongli to provide shields and crowd control while someone like Bennett can give some much-needed healing. Xiangling can lay down some powerful off-field damage while Itto takes the stage as the main DPS carry.

Noelle can be used as a substitute for Zhongli since she can provide shields and healing.
