Nathalie Emmanuel would like to see more action and romance for her character in “Game of Thrones” Season 7. In a recent interview the actress talked about the future of the show as well as having fun with her fellow cast members on the set.

Production of the next season of the popular HBO TV series is yet to begin. The filming has been delayed this year because the producers are waiting for the right weather, to start rolling the cameras. Winter has finally arrived in Westeros, so the crew can’t film in the regular sunny weather.

In a recent interview, Emmanuel (Missandei) said that some action for her character would be “really fun.” The character has so far not been seen in any action sequence, and the actress said that it would be interesting to see something that is outside the realm of what her character has done so far. She pointed out that war is coming to Westeros, so her character is well placed to get into some battles.

Emmanuel also wants to see more romance between her character and Grey Worm (Jacob Anderson) in “Game of Thrones” Season 7, she told Moviefone. She said that the storyline of the two characters is “so, so endearing” and the romantic side of her character is “such a sweet thing.” She said that she loved this aspect of her character and enjoys working with Anderson.

Most of the time, Emmanuel has to share the screen with Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke). The actress said that she gets along well with Clarke on the set. Talking about this storyline, Emmanuel said that after interacting with the men; it is “really nice” to have a female companion for some “girl time.”

The delay in the production of “Game of Thrones” Season 7 has led to some delay in the release date as well. The next season is expected to premiere in June 2017, instead of April.
