A character who was only seen way back in 2011 is set to come back in episode 8 of “Game of Thrones” Season 6. Multiple theories regarding Arya Stark are floating online, and the fans expect some shocking twists for the character in the next episode.

Pictures of the next episode posted on The Grumpy Fish shows a shadow of Syrio Forel (Miltos Yerolemou) behind the Waif (Faye Marsay). Syrio was Arya’s (Maisie Williams) teacher in the first season of the TV series, in which he taught her how to sword fight using a wooden sword.

A theory making rounds on the internet suggests that Arya and the Waif are the same, and the fight scenes in the TV series is the Waif trying to kill Arya’s identity so that she can become No One. Another theory states that Jaqen H’ghar (Tom Wlaschiha) is actually Syrio, and that he has been with her all along with the hope of teaching her.

The title of episode 8 of “Game of Thrones” Season 6 is “No One,” suggesting that the major plot will be focused on Arya. According to the official synopsis of the episode Arya will face a “new test.”

Some of the other pictures of the episode are from King’s Landing, Riverrun and Meereen. The trial of Cersei (Lena Headey) is expected to be featured in the next episode, but as the trailer shows, not everything goes according to the High Sparrow’s (Jonathan Pryce) plans. Meanwhile, Brienne (Gwendoline Christie) will reach Riverrun and meet with Jaime (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau).

According to the synopsis of episode 8 of “Game of Thrones” Season 6, Tyrion’s (Peter Dinklage) plans will bear fruit. The preview pictures show the new Red Priestess preaching to the people of Meereen. She had previously agreed to help stabilise the reign of Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke).
