"Game of Thrones" Season 5 spoilers have yet to peak in entertainment reports, but the rumoured casting of a Sand Snake, Nymeria Sand in particular, is exciting for many fans. For Arya Stark (Maisie Williams), a different Nymeria is also much anticipated on HBO's hit series.

Spoiler alert: This feature contains Game of Thrones Season 5 spoilers, based on the developments in "A Song of Ice and Fire" book series by George R.R. Martin.

There has been no official word on Keisha Castle-Hughes playing Nymeria Sand on Game of Thrones Season 5. For many ASoIaF fans, however, that Sand Snake Nymeria Sand would be played out in the HBO series is one more reason to look forward to OUAT 5 with heightened anticipation.

Meanwhile, the mere mention of "Nymeria" sends a lot of Arya Stark fans wondering: Do we get to see Arya's direwolf Nymeria next season? (Arya named her wolf after a legendary warrior queen from Dorne.) In Game of Thrones Season 1, Arya was forced to send Nymeria away because of Cersei Lannister (Lena Headey) and the then future king that Nymeria attacked, Joffrey Baratheon (Jack Gleeson).

Arya's Nymeria has some brief, but solid storyline spanning up to the fifth ASoIaF book, "A Dance with Dragons." Seeing Arya Stark Braavos-bound at the end of Game of Thrones Season 4 has many fans wondering if she would see her ferocious direwolf again

As for the rumoured Nymeria of present day Dorne, fans of "Star Wars" would remember Keisha Castle-Hughes as the Queen of Naboo in "Revenge of the Sith." The actress was nominated for an Oscar (Best Actress category) for her leading role in the 2002 film "Whale Rider." See some of the reactions on Twitter regarding the rumoured casting of a Sand Snake.

Nymeria is Dorne's femme fatale of sorts, and blades are her weapon of choice. In the books, Dorne's Nymeria, aka Nym, is Capital-bound for a seat in the small council. Fans will see if this daughter is anything like her father, Prince Oberyn Martell, aka The Viper (Pedro Pascal).
