A Florida bride and her wedding caterer have been arrested and are facing charges after they allegedly laced food at the wedding with marijuana and didn’t warn guests first.

Both the bride, Danya Glenny, and the caterer, Joycelyn Bryant, are both facing charges of tampering, culpable negligence and delivery of marijuana, Fox Orlando reported Wednesday, after reportedly committing the act on Feb. 19 at the event, which took place at The Springs Clubhouse in Longwood, Florida.

At the time, police arrived after guests said they “felt weird,” “ill and high” and like they “had drugs inside” of them.

An affidavit obtained by CNN, which identifies the bride as Danya Svoboda, alleged that at the scene, she and her husband were questioned by officers about food being laced, which they denied after staring with blank expressions for a few moments.

The affidavit also confirmed that food collected from the wedding to be tested did test positive for drugs, with the lasagna that was served testing positive for THC. Three guests at the event also tested positive for cannabis in urine tests.

Many expressed concerns after the event as they dealt with the effects of being unknowingly drugged.

“I thought I was having a heart attack. My heart was racing and before I went to bed that night, I actually slept in my car right on-site,” Miranda Cady, a guest at the wedding, told WESH 2, an NBC affiliate.

Following their arrests, both the bride and caterer were released on bond and are set to be arraigned in June, CNN reported
