Square Enix has just confirmed when 'Final Fantasy XV' will be launched, much to the delight of its gamers. The game will be out by 2016, but, its developer will not be releasing it until March.

Apparently, the company has a major "Final Fantasy XV" event scheduled for March, and unveiling the much awaited game during said event will make the program even more special. Square Enix made the announcement during its Active Time Panel at Pax, which was held in Seattle, late last week, according to Tech Times.

"This may be something that we are a little embarrassed to talk about," director Hajime Tabata told IGN. "But, really, this is the first time that we have done a packaged, standalone 'Final Fantasy' game with a simultaneous global launch. So, we did not have the setup to deal with that, really."

Furthermore, this is the very first time Square Enix will be launching a game at the same time across all regions. That said, it would appear that the release of the next "Final Fantasy" installment will turn out to be a breakthrough for the studio.

Tabata also revealed that Square Enix has plans to hold another Active Time Panel during the Tokyo Game Show, which has already been scheduled from September 17 to 20. Thankfully, "Final Fantasy XV" fans have something huge to look forward next month since Tabata admitted they will be revealign some key details about Regis and Luna. However, he reiterated that they will only be confirming the game's official release date during next year's event.

"Final Fantasy XV" follows the adventures of Noctis, who is the heir to the throne of Lucis. The game will show the main character's travels as he heads forth to meet his betrothed. As the Lucian people have believed, this marriage will give peace to the two warring states.
