Dakota Johnson shared she waxed more than she ever did for her upcoming film "Fifty Shades of Grey." The film would feature her character being whipped and spanked, but for her, waxing hurt more than her role being manhandled on the movie.

Daily Star UK reports Dakota Johnson did a lot of difficult preparations for her role of Anastasia Steele in the movie "Fifty Shades of Grey." One thing she had to do a lot was to stay silky smooth by getting waxed over and over again. "I was going to be naked, so I wanted to look good. I did a lot of working out and had more waxing than any woman should have," she said.

Previews of the film confirmed the sexual romps between her and Jamie Dornan’s character Christian Grey would make up around sixth of the movie. Waxing was her main ordeal and not even getting spanked or whipped. She detailed that even though there were painful moments and she even got a whiplash once from being thrown to the bed, it was only because they had to do the scene several times.

Apart from this tidbit, Dakota also recently shared to Access Hollywood how she made sure her body would look fit and comparable to an "active college student" for the cameras. She shared she knew she had to be kind of "athletic" to perform those scenes and needed endurance. As such, she did a lot of running and training. She even worked out with Jamie Dornan with a trainer. She also had to eat healthy.

She said even if the scenes were difficult she still managed to complete them, all thanks to her co-star Jamie Dornan. She said it's nice that she could still laugh with Jamie. She sometimes go home feeling "shell-shocked" but she could quickly snap out of it when driving home and after having a big glass of wine.

For now, as the opening date nears, she's worried about the fame that would surely ensue. She said fame is a double-edged sword that could be both glorious and destructive.
