'Fifty Shades of Grey' Last Scene Details Leaked: Anastasia Steele To Say 'Stop' And Not 'Red'--Report

“Fifty Shades of Grey” is all set to grace the theatres on Valentine’s Day. The recent report has suggested that the film’s finale has been decided by author E.L James and not by the film’s director Sam Taylor-Johnson.
According to a source close to The Hollywood Reporter, Johnson wanted the film to end with the female protagonist, Anastasia Steele saying word “red,” whereas James wanted Steele to say, “stop.” So now according to the reports the final word in the film will be “stop” and not “red.” “Red” is a “safe word” used by the couple in the book. “It ended on a really smart note and Erika (E.L James real name) wouldn't allow it. It's just a bummer,” said a source. In the novel’s final scene, Steele asks Christian Grey to give her a sexual beating. When Grey reveals his inner demon to Steele, the latter is left shocked and leaves him.
It has also been reported that James was given a lot of control over the film and this reportedly led to issues between her and Johnson, reported Cinema Blend. A source has revealed to Hollywood Reporter that the argument on the ending created a lot of tension on the sets and it was "the most petty and ridiculous argument in the world.”
Universal is yet to give any comment on the alleged argument between James and Johnson in regard to the film’s end. “ Fifty Shades of Grey” tells a story of a wealthy business magnate Grey who falls in love with a plain Jane, Steele. As their romance builds up, Grey unleashes his wild side and whole new world of eroticism opens up. The film reportedly features BDSM elements such as bondage, dominance, submission and sadism.
Jamie Dornan plays the role of Grey in the film whereas Dakota Johnson plays Steele. Kelly Marcel has written the film's screenplay and Michael De Luca, Dana Brunetti and James have produced it. Few scenes of the film were re-shot in Vancouver. The film will premiere at Berlin Film Festival on Feb 11 and will hit the theatres on Feb 13.
